Tower Dominion: Tactical Conquest · Stratequo
Effective date: 23 October 2026
Applies to: the Android app "Tower Dominion: Tactical Conquest"
(package com.towerdominion.tacticalconquest), version 1.0.0 and later.
In short
- The game has no user accounts, no server of its own and no analytics service of its own. Your progress is saved only on your device.
- Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google processes device data (such as the advertising ID and IP address) to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked for consent first; elsewhere you can opt out of personalised ads.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- We do not sell your personal information for money. Personalised advertising through Google may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws — you can opt out (see section 9).
1. Who is responsible (data controller)
Stratequo, an individual developer resident in Romania ("we", "us"). Contact for any privacy question or request: [email protected]
We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are not required to. For requests from the UK or Switzerland, contact us at the same address.
2. What data is processed, why, and on what legal basis
| Data | Where it goes | Purpose | Legal basis (EEA/UK) | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Game progress, settings, maps you create | Your device only (app-private storage) | Running the game, saving progress | Performance of the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) | Until you delete it in the app or uninstall |
| Optional gameplay statistics (off by default) | Your device only, never sent | Letting you view your own play history | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — toggle in Settings | Until you turn it off, delete progress or uninstall |
| One-way hash of each purchase's order identifier | Your device only | Delivering each purchase exactly once | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) | Until you delete progress or uninstall |
| Advertising ID, IP address (approximate location derived from it), device model and OS, app information, ad interactions, diagnostic and fraud-prevention signals | Google (Google Mobile Ads SDK) | Showing ads, frequency capping, ad measurement, fraud prevention; personalised ads only where permitted | Consent for personalised ads and device storage in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (collected through Google's consent form); legitimate interest in fraud prevention and in showing non-personalised ads that fund the free game (Art. 6(1)(f)) | Under Google's retention policies |
| Purchase data (product, order, payment) | Google Play | Processing in-app purchases | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) | Under Google Play's policies; we keep only the hash above |
We do not collect your name, e-mail address, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera data. The game has no chat and no social features. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Copy-and-paste features ("Copy backup to clipboard", "Copy share code") place text on your device's clipboard only when you tap them; nothing is uploaded.
3. Google as an independent provider
Advertising and payments are provided by Google Ireland Limited (for users in the EEA and Switzerland) or Google LLC (elsewhere). For advertising, Google acts as an independent controller for some purposes and as our processor for others, as described in Google's terms. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites · Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy · Google Play terms: https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/
4. Your consent choices
- EEA, UK, Switzerland: on first start the game shows Google's consent form. You can change or withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing done before. Without consent you still receive non-personalised (contextual) ads.
- Gameplay statistics: Settings → "Record gameplay statistics" (off by default).
- On any Android device: Settings → Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads) lets you delete or reset your advertising ID.
5. International transfers
Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Transfers from the EEA, UK and Switzerland rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), under which Google LLC is certified, and on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
6. Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing (including processing based on legitimate interests), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Because the game itself keeps your data only on your device, you can exercise most rights directly:
- Access / portability: Settings → Account & Save → "Copy backup to clipboard".
- Erasure: Settings → Account & Save → "Delete all local progress", or uninstall the app.
- Advertising data: use "Ad privacy choices" in the game and your device's ad settings; for data Google holds, see https://myaccount.google.com and Google's privacy policy.
We hold no copy of your data on any server, so we cannot look it up for you — but write to [email protected] with any request and we will answer within one month.
Complaints: you may complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), https://www.dataprotection.ro; you may also contact the authority in your own EU country, the UK Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk) or the Swiss FDPIC.
7. Children
The game is rated for ages 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA). Ads are limited to content rated for teens ("T") or below. In the EEA, consent for personalised ads is requested through Google's consent form, which applies the age rules of your country. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game in a way that caused data to be collected, contact us and we will help remove it (for example by explaining how to reset the advertising ID).
8. Security
Your progress is stored in the app's private storage, protected by Android's app sandbox, and checked for damage when loaded. Data sent by the Google SDKs is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
9. Notice for United States residents
This section applies to residents of California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and of other states with consumer privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others).
Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months (by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, not by us): identifiers (advertising ID, IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (ad interactions); geolocation (approximate, derived from IP); device information. Sources: your device, through the SDK. Purposes: advertising, ad measurement, security and fraud prevention. Recipients: Google (advertising and, for purchases, Google Play).
Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Showing personalised ads through Google may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising or "targeted advertising" under state laws.
Your rights: to know/access, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To opt out:
- use Settings → Ad privacy choices in the game where it is offered in your state, and/or
- turn off ad personalisation / delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings, and/or
- e-mail [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent. Because we hold no account data, we verify requests only as far as needed to act on them.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals where the platform passes them to us; the Android app itself does not receive browser signals. Sensitive personal information is not collected. Do Not Track: the app does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as it is not a browser.
Appeals: if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state Attorney General.
10. Changes to this policy
If the way the game handles data changes, we update this policy and the Google Play "Data safety" section before the new version is released, and change the effective date above. Significant changes are announced in the game.
