Terms of Service
Warlords of Aethelgard: Realms at War · Stratequo
Effective date: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the mobile game Warlords of Aethelgard: Realms at War (package com.stratequo.warlordsofaethelgard, the "Game"), published by Stratequo ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for purchases made on your device.
2. Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent or distribute the Game or any part of it;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the Game, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use cheats, exploits, bots or modified versions of the Game, or tamper with save files or purchase receipts to obtain items or currency you have not earned or paid for;
- use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
3. Ownership
The Game and all of its content — including software, artwork, models, textures, music, sounds, characters, names and text — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party components are listed in the Game's credits and licence notices and remain the property of their owners. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
4. Virtual currency and items
The Game contains virtual currencies (such as Royal Gold, Aether Gems and Tomes) and virtual items, passes and benefits ("Virtual Items").
- Virtual Items are a limited licence to use features inside the Game. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Game, and cannot be transferred or sold to others.
- Virtual Items can be earned through play; some can also be bought. Buying is never required to play or to progress through the Game's content.
- We may change, rebalance or retire Virtual Items or game features, for example to fix errors or keep the Game fair. We will not remove Virtual Items you have paid for without offering a fair replacement or a refund where the law requires it.
5. Purchases
- All purchases are made through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and payment policies. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Prices are shown in the Game and in Google Play before you buy, including applicable taxes.
- Refunds: refund requests are handled through Google Play under its refund policy. Except as required by applicable law, purchases of Virtual Items are final once delivered.
- EU/EEA and UK consumers: you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Because Virtual Items are delivered to you immediately after purchase, you agree, by confirming a purchase, that delivery starts immediately and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal once the Virtual Item has been delivered. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not delivered.
- If a purchase is not delivered, restart the Game (undelivered purchases are delivered automatically) or use Restore purchases in the Store, then contact us if the problem continues.
6. Subscription (Royal Charter)
The Royal Charter is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the Google Play app (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; its benefits continue until the end of the period already paid and then end. Subscription benefits are temporary and stop when the subscription ends.
7. Advertising
The Game shows optional reward ads and occasional full-screen ads provided by Google AdMob. Watching a reward ad to the end grants the stated reward; closing it early does not. The "Remove Forced Ads" purchase removes full-screen ads that appear without your choice; optional reward ads remain available. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Your game data
Your progress is stored only on your device. We have no game servers and cannot recover progress that is lost if you uninstall the Game, clear its data, reset or lose your device. Purchases of non-consumable items and subscriptions can be restored from Google Play; consumed currency cannot be restored once the local save is lost.
9. Availability and changes
We may update the Game to add, change or remove features, fix problems or meet legal or platform requirements. We aim to keep the Game available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may stop offering it. If we stop offering the Game, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
10. Disclaimer
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or progress caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in connection with the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms (for example by cheating or tampering with purchases). Sections 3, 4, 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. EU consumers can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects you, we will let you know in the Game before it applies. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
