Privacy Policy

Life: Infinite · Stratequo

Effective date: 19 October 2026

This policy explains what information Life: Infinite ("the game") collects, why, and the choices you have. The game is published by Stratequo ("we", "us"). If you have any question, write to [email protected].

The short version

  • You can play without an account. Your lives are stored on your device.
  • We never sell your personal data.
  • Analytics and crash reports are off until you agree to them, and you can switch them off at any time in Settings → Privacy.
  • Advertising partners only show personalised ads if you consent through the consent form.
  • You can export or delete your data from Settings → Profile, or ask us by email.

Information stored on your device

Your saved lives, dynasties, achievements, settings (including your language and theme), Life Tokens, token fragments and cosmetic unlocks are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device unless you turn on cloud save by creating an account. If you uninstall the game without an account, this data is removed with it.

Accounts and cloud save (optional)

If you create an account (Google Sign-In through your device's account picker, or email and password), we use Google Firebase Authentication to identify you. We receive a user identifier and, depending on the method, your email address and display name. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never stored by the game.

With an account, the following is stored in Google Cloud Firestore so you can play on several devices and recover your progress: your saved games, dynasty history, achievements, settings, VIP status, Starter Pack status and Life Token balance.

We use your email address only to operate your account (sign-in, password reset). We do not send marketing emails.

Purchases

Purchases (VIP subscriptions, VIP for life, Life Token packs and the Starter Pack) are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. We receive a purchase token and order information from Google Play. Our server (Google Cloud Functions for Firebase) verifies it with Google Play to deliver your purchase, to keep your subscription status up to date when it renews, is cancelled or is refunded, and to prevent fraud.

Game settings downloaded from our server

To fix balance issues and run seasonal content without an app update, the game downloads game settings from Google Firebase Remote Config. This uses a Firebase installation identifier, a random number that identifies this installation of the game, and basic technical data such as the app version and the device's language. It does not include your name, email address or saves.

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, for example which features are used, how long sessions last and where players get stuck. We log gameplay events such as "life started", "event shown" or "achievement unlocked", together with technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, country (derived from the IP address, not precise location) and an app-instance identifier.

We do not log your name, email address, free-text input or precise location in analytics.

If you allow it, we use Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when the game crashes. A report contains technical information about the device, the app version and the state of the app at the time of the crash. It helps us fix bugs.

Advertising

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob:

  • optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch, for example to earn token fragments, to try a cosmetic style for 24 hours or to swap an event
  • occasional ads at natural breaks, for example after a life ends

VIP members and Starter Pack owners see no ads at natural breaks. Rewarded ads always stay optional.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form (a certified consent management platform) before personalised ads are shown. AdMob may use device identifiers such as the advertising ID, and it may use cookies or similar technologies. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ad consent settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

Google's use of data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

  • "Share your life" opens your device's share sheet. You choose the app and the recipient. We do not receive what you share.
  • Settings can link to our website and social media pages. These open outside the game, under those sites' own privacy policies. The small one-time reward for opening a link is recorded only in the game.

Notifications

The game does not currently send push notifications, and we do not use a push-messaging service.

Sharing with others

We share data only with the service providers that operate the game on our behalf:

  • Google Firebase: authentication, database, server functions, remote game settings, analytics and crash reports
  • Google AdMob: advertising
  • Google Play: purchases and subscription status

These providers process data under their own terms and security measures. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

  • Performance of a contract: running your account, cloud save, delivering purchases and providing the game's settings.
  • Consent: analytics, crash reports and personalised advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, the security of purchases and showing non-personalised ads in the free version.

How long we keep data

Local data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the game. Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your cloud data is deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep purchase records for legal or tax reasons. Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months.

Deleting your account and data

  • In the game: Settings → Profile → Delete account. This deletes your account, your cloud saves and your local data. If you play as a guest, use Delete all my data.
  • Without the game: email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm and delete your account and cloud data within 30 days.
  • Purchases stay linked to your Google account. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, because deleting your game account does not cancel them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent.

  • Export: Settings → Profile → Export my data.
  • Delete: see "Deleting your account and data" above.
  • For any other request, write to [email protected].

In the EEA and the UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data sent between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit. Purchases are verified on our server, and your in-game wallet is protected against tampering. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Translations

This policy is available in several languages. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the game.
